Feast of Our Lady of the Angels

Itambacuri, the Franciscan City, becomes a great center of devotion to Nossa Senhora dos Anjos, patron saint of the Municipality.

From the 23rd of July onwards, an intense program takes place, starting with the Carreata do Announcement, which mobilizes the entire community, and continues with novenas, masses, celebrations and the great procession on the 2nd of August.

One of the highlights of the program is the Solemn Mass, at the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Anjos, when the faithful receive the indulgence of the “Forgiveness of Assisi”.

In addition, Itambacuri's gastronomy and culture combine with faith and devotion to Our Lady to welcome visitors with the best of Minas Gerais hospitality, with various cultural activities, a gastronomic fair and artistic presentations.
